"Sri Lanka NEXT - A Blue Green Era" 2019 Conference and Exhibition
“Sri Lanka NEXT - A Blue Green Era” programme launched in January 2016, Sri Lanka has demonstrated its commitment to adopt climate smart strategies and ensure low carbon development pathways getting in line with Paris Agreement on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Goals. “Sri Lanka NEXT - A Blue Green Era” Conference and Exhibition is organized for the fourth consecutive time, on 23rd and 24th October 2019 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). It expects to promote sustainable development in Sri Lanka through Blue Green Economic initiatives while creating awareness among the key stakeholders and general public on environment and blue-green economy in order to obtain their active participation to achieve both economic and environmental sustainability of the country. This event is a collaborative effort of public institutions, private sector, civil societies, universities and experts in various relevant fields, private, non-governmental and community-based organizations.
