A2. A member of staff from Designated National Authority, under Climate Change Division of Ministry of Environment are pleased to support in some extent (consultation regarding eligibility, procedure, PIN etc).

A4) It is depend on the case. However most of the project proponent are requested to pay for 1) preparation of Project Design Document (PDD) to CDM consultant, Validation Fee to Designated Operational Entities (DOE) and verification fee to DOE other than cost & expenses for their own preparation and operation.
A5) There are some buyers in the market. So you can contact any of them directly or Sri Lankan government has already formed up Sri Lankan Carbon Fund (SLCF) with purpose of promote CDM project in Sri Lanka and facilitate CER deals among the project proponents in Sri Lanka and International Buyers.

A8) There are no specific schemes financing schemes available for CDM projects in Sri Lanka. However there are carbon funds attached to international organizations such as ADB and World Nank which provides financial assistances for development of project documentation and validation of CDM projects.
